FAQs

Do you take a deposit?

Yes. We ask for £120 (1/3 of your reel) to be paid upfront. This secures your filming date, and covers any pre-production work for your reel. The pre-production work begins as soon as you’ve made your deposit payment, and so it is non-refundable.

Can I postpone my reel?

If you give us more than two weeks notice for any reason there is a £50 admin fee to move your showreel date. If you give us less than two weeks notice for any reason there is a £100 admin fee to move your showreel date. We are fully committed to producing your reel, and in return ask that clients are too. Therefore, please make sure you clear this date with your agents and your workplace.

How many scenes do you shoot in a day?

We should one scene a day to ensure the highest quality.

How do I know where to go on the day?

You will receive a call sheet at least 2 weeks prior to your filming date with all the information you need for the day.

How long will the shoot last?

The shoot will last between 2-3 hours. Please do not book anything immediately after. We want you to be focused on your reel and enjoying it, not worrying that you have a deadline elsewhere.

Are scripts included in your package?

Yes. You will receive a 1-1.5 page script that matches your brand and USP. All our showreel scripts are duologues.

Can I bring my own script?

Yes. You must provide us with you 1-1.5 page script (In industry format) 2 weeks prior to your filming date.

Can I ask for edits to my script?

Your original script will be tailored to your USP and the storyline will be confirmed with you before we begin writing, so there will be no surprises when you receive your script. We ask for actors to rehearse their scene for at least a week before contacting us about edits. If you would like edits to your script then this will be at an extra cost. We do not permit clients to edit their own scripts due to quality control and copyright.

Are scene partners included in your package?

Yes. We will ask you for a brief and from there will do our best to find an actor who matches as close as possible.

Can I cast my own scene partners?

Yes. If you change your mind or your chosen scene partner can no longer film, you must give us at least 7 working days notice to find another scene partner for you.

Are locations included in your package?

Yes. You can chose which location you’d like to film in by checking out our Location Look Book.

We can help source locations that aren’t in our Look Book e.g an office, but please keep in mind these locations will have their own hire fees.

Are costumes and props included in your package?

No. All costumes and props are the client’s responsibility.

Is a MUA included in your package?

No. You are welcome to hire your own make up artist, however you must arrive to set ready to film to take advantage of the full allotted filming time.

How long until I will receive my edited scene?

You will receive the footage 2 weeks after filming.

Can I ask for edits to my footage?

We always aim to chose footage that best represents the acting, the storyline and any technical aspects like sound and video quality. We ask that clients trust our experience and knowledge with this. If clients would like edits then this is at an added cost and to be agreed by the videographer.

Can I get the original footage?

No. We do not provide any RAW material.

What happens if it is raining on the day?

We are always looking at the weather forecast and will make the call 5pm the day before if the shoot is going ahead or not. If we can move the scene indoors then we will do, but unfortunately it is one of those things when working on location.
